“Sight Unseen” is a contemporary urban thriller with a twist, featuring a trusting cop, her
partner and a femme fatale. Detective Kate Logan is in her early 30s, good looking in a
no-nonsense way and still stressed over being dumped by her boyfriend. Kate and her
partner, Danny Walker, are called out to investigate a murder in a wealthy suburban
neighborhood. In order to catch the killer, they set up a clandestine stake-out in the house
across the street occupied by Chloe, a beautiful young woman, and her successful older
husband. Over time, Kate can see that Chloe is unhappy and that her husband mistreats
her. Kate sympathizes with her.
One evening, when Kate is away from the house, Chloe urgently calls her and tells her
she is being attacked by her husband. Kate races to the house, and shoots the husband
seemingly in the midst of a major, physical fight he is having with Chloe. Afterwards,
Chloe seems to deny the sequence of events that Kate relates to her boss at the police
department.
Kate subsequently discovers through her investigation that she has been set up by Chloe.
And she comes to learn that someone else has been working with Chloe -- her partner,
Det. Danny Walker -- and now, Kate must fight for her life.
