Martha sees the world differently, a world where everything is animated and full of life. She

sees the good in everything and everyone. When she witnesses the murder of her mother by

Jake, a ruthless criminal, the police put her in the care of a foster home. Nicole is distraught

and tries to take custody of her, but the police will not allow it. Finally, Detective Velez

strikes a deal with Nicole, that she can have custody only if Martha helps to apprehend the

murderer. Nicole, while taking care of Martha, realizes the power of love and hope.

Together they find Jake, who is killed by the police. Nicole, her boyfriend and Martha live

happily ever after.
